My name is Fahim Faisal. Currently, I am doing my PhD in Computer Science at George Mason University. Previously I studied CS (BSc) at Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. My academic interest involves learning different aspects of computational linguistics and natural language processing (eg. machine translation). Specifically, I find the process of performing effective computational mapping among different human languages fascinating. Besides, modeling the use of platform specific language to understand different phenomena (eg. misinformation detection) excites me. Currently, I am working on a project related to semi-supervised learning of morphological process of language. Outside academics, I like reading music and watching cinematic. I also possess a strong desire to travel the world and to know about different cultures.
